Olohungbebe Lawal Olalekan is the Centre’s Assistant Director/Acting Director. He holds a BSc in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Maiduguri, MSc Social Works and Community Development from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso. Lawal is pursuing a Doctoral degree in Community Development at Bayero University, Kano. He works closely with the members of local communities, helping them to identify needs and strengths and develop empowering strategies to meet their goals utilising assets abound in their communities.

As an Adult Educator and Community Development specialist, Lawal assists communities develop the practical skills necessary to ensure the fullest development of their potential since they are experts in their own lives.

Muhammad JamiuThe Program Secretary Mr. Muhammad Jamiu Na’Allah was born in Ilorin west local government and had his primary and secondary education at Lafiaji and Ilorin respectively. He went on to earn a Diploma in Shariah and Common Law at the Kwara State College of Arabic and Islamic Legal Studies Ilorin and was the pioneer President for the Kwara State Students Union in 2004 at the Aminu Kano College of Islamic and Legal Studies Kano where he was awarded Advanced Diploma in Law. With a Post Graduate Diploma in Community Development from the Federal College of Education Kano in 2006 and having worked as a school teacher and a Registry Officer he was appointed as Secretary to the Director, Centre for Community Development in November 2010.
