Department of Mass Communication

Mass Communication department aims at producing ICT-competent, critical –thinking and ethically -minded graduates who will take up managerial positions in the country’s mainstream and adjunct media organizations, including newspapers, magazines, radio, television, online publications, public relations, advertising, government ministries and others. Emphasis is also placed on entrepreneurial skills to enable the graduates to be self-reliant and job-creating rather than job-seeking. To this end, the university has assembled the right human and material resources for the benefit of the students.
