Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for vacant positions in the University Library, Kwara State University, Malete.
Vacant Position:(2No)Library Porters
Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
i) SSCE/GCE (O’LEVEL) or its equivalent with at least (5) Credits including English Language.
ii) Computer Literacy will be an added advantage.
ü Making sure at all times that incoming Library Users are in possession of their Identity Card.
ü Properly Check - out readers.
ü Checking out and receiving materials for photocopying.
ü Assisting in shelving Library materials and gathering statistics.
ü Ensuring that Library Users do not indulge in bad habits like eating, chewing, or noise making in the Library.
ü Carrying out any other duties as may be assigned by immediate supervisor or the University Librarian.

xvi. Names and Addresses of three (3) referees (two of whom must be professionals or authorities in relevant fields) who must be requested by the applicant to forward Confidential Reports on them directly to the Registrar, indicating the post applied for.
