COMMENCEMENT OF LECTURES AND OTHER ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES AT MALETE CAMPUS

(1)         The clearance and orientation activities for all students admitted into Kwara State University begin tomorrow Tuesday 8^th December 2009.

(2)      All students must make full payment of school fees as a      precondition for final clearance and commencement of registration.

(3)      Allocation of Hostel Accommodation would be finalized by the weekend.

(4)    Resumption and Orientation Programme.

1^st day  - 2p.m. on Tuesday 8^th December 2009

-          All students to be seated in a hall.

-          Arrival of staff led by the Vice-Chancellor

-          Special prayers

-          Introduction of Principal officers and lecturers

-          Welcome address by the VC, Prof. AbdulRasheed Na’Allah.

2^nd day Wednesday 9^th December 2009

Morning session – 11a.m. – 12 noon

You and the University facilities to be anchored by the Registrar 11.a.m

Afternoon session 1pm – 3pm.

Career talk by individual programme unit.

3^rd day Thursday 10^th December 2009

Morning session 10a.m. – 12 noon

Student Central and Departmental registration begins at 10.am

Afternoon session

Each principal officer will address the students.

a)      Librarian – 1p.m. – 1.30p.m.

b)     Director, Health Services – 1.35pm. – 2.05pm.

c)      Chief Security Officer – 2.10pm. – 2.40pm.

d)     The Bursar – 2.10pm – 2.40pm.

e)      Dean, Students affairs -2.45pm – 3.15pm.

A visit to Malete Town 11.00a.m.
