Enterprise Creation and Management (ECM)Programme

(To commence in June/October, 2011)

The Enterprise Creation and Management (ECM) Programme is designed as an ‘Executive’ Programme in enterprise creation and enterprise management. It is a conscious effort to train participants in specific areas of enetrprise management and entrepreneurship with the aim to transform them from irrelevance to relevance in their life pursuit. The introduction of this programme is an attempt by kwara State University to begin to fulfill the purpose of its establishment as “the University for Community Development” with the target market made up of all unemployable, unemployed, underemployed graduates, and civil servants approaching retirement from service.

The ECM Programme is to be operated under two (2) APPROVED VERSIONS, namely:

1.        The Intensive (Long Vacation) Weekday Version of the ECM: This will run on full-time basis for a period of twelve (12) weeks during the Long Vacation (June, 2011 – September, 2011)

2.        The Part-Time Weekend Version of the ECM: This will run for twelve (12) months (weekends only) between October, 2011 and September, 2012.
