Enterprise Creation and Skill Acquisition (ECSA) Programme

(Commenced in October, 2011)

This is a programme designed to empower every student of Kwara State University through their re-orientation towards enterprise and job creation with the objective of producing graduates that are job creators and not job seekers, it is therefore mandatory for all Kwara State University students, irrespective of their programme of study, to successfully pass through this programme before graduation.

The Enterprise Creation and Skill Acquisition (ECSA) Programme is made up of the following five (5) stages compulsory for ALL KWASU STUDENTS before graduation:

STAGE ONE: Business Opportunities Identification (BOI) – GNS 203 (Innovation and Product Development)

STAGE TWO: Business Value Reorientation (BVR) – GNS 204 (Enterprise Creation and Development)

STAGE THREE: Practical Skills Acquisition (PSA) – GNS 303 (Entrepreneurship Mentorship)

STAGE FOUR: Resource Mobilization and Business Plan Writing (RBP) – GNS 304 (Enterprise Resource Planning)

STAGE FIVE: Practical Business Operations (PBO) – GNS 403 (Entrepreneurship Practice)
